When plans break at Haneda

Haneda Flight Cancellations and Delays: What to Do

If your flight at Haneda is cancelled or delayed, check the airport's official flight information first, then deal with your airline — changes and refunds are handled by the airline, not the airport. Here is where to look and what to do next.

Check Haneda's official flight status

Haneda Airport lists delayed and cancelled flights separately for international flights and domestic flights; its flight information page covers all arrivals and departures. The airport's information center answers by phone at 03-5757-8111. Haneda — information center →

Changes and refunds go through your airline

The airport does not rebook or refund tickets — your airline does. Haneda's list of airlines shows which carriers fly from the airport: Haneda — list of airlines →. If you booked through a travel agency, handle changes through the seller you bought from.

For how ANA and JAL handle fee-free changes when bad weather disrupts flights, see our guide to flight delays and cancellations at Tokyo airports.

Stuck at Haneda late at night?

According to Haneda's own FAQ, the domestic areas of Terminals 1 and 2 close at night, and after closing you generally cannot stay in the lobby. Terminal 3 stays open through the night, but only passengers who have used or are planning to use international flights may stay inside overnight. Getting into Tokyo after a delay
